DIY Kids Gummies - an all natural immunity boost!

DIY Kids Gummies - an all natural immunity boost!

It's back to school and there are lots of runny noses around now our little ones are getting out and about and making friends. Did you know you can easily swap the expensive store-bought option with an all natural, low-waste alternative? Goodbye unknown additives and excess plastic packaging!

Georgie Hannan is here this week to share her recipe for all-natural kids immune gummies. Simple and fun to make with your littles, it's a great snack to add into your child's lunchbox or for anytime of day!

And most importantly for time-poor parents, the ingredients are readily available at your supermarket and health food store.

You can even add in a bit of vitamin C powder to give it an added vitamin boost.

Winning!

RECIPE

1.5 cups orange juice

4 tablespoons natural gelatin

2-3 tablespoons raw honey - best to buy raw so it's actually real honey that has all the health benefits!

Optional vitamin C powder

TO MAKE

Choose your mould shape - ice cube moulds work best and come in lots of fun shapes!

In a small saucepan add in orange juice and gelatin

Stir over medium heat for 3-5 minutes

Add in raw honey and stir until smooth

Take off heat and pour into moulds

Pop into the fridge until they have set (maybe 1-2 hours)

So easy, and your kids will think they are a real treat!

I can’t wait to make these! My youngest hates fruit and fruit juice but will eat gummies! It is nice to know what is actually in the fruit gummies, I always feel guilty giving store bought ones!
