Why can't I just use regular bed sheets for my baby's cot?

Sheets come in different sizes to fit all the different sized beds. It’s best to find the right size to fit your bed. As babies and toddlers are a little messy and often have those accidental spills, having a fitted sheet that’s waterproof is an absolute bonus as it will keep the baby safe and dry and the mattress protected too.

Are all fitted cot sheets made of the same material?

There are so many different materials around, it’s hard to pick the right one. Cotton is often the standard when it comes to choosing a bassinet and cot sheet because cotton is a breathable fibre. One of the main benefits of cotton is that it will help to keep your child cool during summer and warm in winter.

Do I need to buy a separate sheet for my baby's bassinet and cot?

A bassinet and cot are different sizes, so it’s best to get a separate sheet for the bassinet and cot to ensure the best fit.

Can fitted sheets be washed in a washing machine?

How often should I wash my child’s fitted cot sheets?

What sizes do your fitted cot sheets come in?

Our bassinet fitted sheets are a universal fit of 79cm x 40cm with a drop of 13cm. If you have a circular bassinet, simply tuck any excess material under the mattress. Our universal cot sheets are 132cm x 77cm with a drop of 19cm.

Can I use a waterproof crib pad in addition to a fitted cot sheet?

It’s not necessary to double up on the waterproof, but if you feel you need an additional barrier between your baby and the mattress, a bed pad is a good option.
